My role involves interviewing prospective clients and building a trusting relationship with clients. It is my responsibility to arrange appointments with my clients and accompany them to viewings. I then need to discuss and negotiate the conditions of sale and ultimately close deals. I am also responsible for property management and have gained residential and letting knowledge within my role. I enjoy my role very much and I am keen to progress in this sector.

Within this position it was my responsibility to provide guests with a warm welcome as well as building relationships with them. Check in and check out procedures in the hotel were completed by guests on an interactive tablet however I was always available to assist with any issues. Whilst working, I would also be responsible for managing the visitor’s book and maintaining security standards within the hotel at all times. My role involved answering the phone, responding to email enquiries and managing any issues with customers, should they arise. As well as cash handling I would organise large group bookings and manage the booking system in the hotel.

I was employed as a specialist in this company. The role involved interacting with the public and providing great customer service ensuring the customer received what they needed. Whilst working in this role I was able to develop my customer service skills even further. This was mainly a sales based role and I met targets by up selling and adding on products. This was a temporary Christmas position and I was unable to be kept on as the store was closing for refurbishment for a six month period.

Whilst here, I would attend sales meetings, conferences and events. Whilst handling my client’s needs and issues in a professional manner, I would devise new sales or marketing strategies and schedule appointments, calls and meetings.

I was employed as a waiter and had many different responsibilities. My duties involved welcoming customers, taking orders and delivering great customer service. When I was promoted to a supervisor position my original responsibilities remained but I also had to ensure that the rest of the team were delivering on their designated duties. Although having a great friendly relationship with my team, once I was promoted to supervisor I had to prioritise my role and differentiate between when I was able to be friendly with the team and when I had to take control and steer them in the right direction to benefit the business. I was also a key holder for the restaurant and had the responsibility of cashing up, opening and closing the restaurant. Building relationships with customers was key in this position as we had many returning on a regular basis.
