Responsible for planning and implementing Toyota Production System (TPS) concepts as part of an interdisciplinary team to drive organizational design across the Advocate Health Care system. Executing on operational stability elements that include controlled supply replenishment, workplace organization, daily management huddles, problem solving, zone management and capability development.Surgical Services Redesign• KanBan and Lawson barcode replenishment implementation.• Layout redesign based on workplace organization concepts and pick path efficiency. • Using logical units of measure right sizing PAR levels to reduce holding costs and mitigate risks of expired supplies.Medical Group• System-wide supply chain standardization that supports Advocate's 200+ practice sites.• Apply KanBan replenishment processes with visual triggers promoting FIFO concepts eliminating patient exposure to expired product while reducing stock-outs and overstocking rates. • Partner monthly with Advocate executive leaders to lead site checks ensuring standards are met and operational staff are adhering to operational expectations.Leadership Development• Develop and execute a series of operational education summits that focus on leadership capability development through operational management concepts, workplace organization, setting PAR levels, controlled replenishment and our daily management system.
