• Highly multi-core DSP debugger: responsible for a $1M debugger sale to a major European cell phone company. Worked with customer to create specification, did detailed design, managed team doing implementation. Sold.
• Linux and Android debugger for PowerPC: Designed a development environment specifically targeting Linux/Android on Freescale multi-core PowerPC’s. Implemented simultaneous JTAG debug of Linux kernel space and embedded.
• Frequent speaker at industry conferences (Embedded Systems Conference, ARM Developers Conference)

• Created User interface components for Code|Lab debugger product. (Visual C++/MFC)
• Code|Lab debugger back end components. (ELF/dwarf/COFF symbolic parsing)

• Ran a one man shop engineering consulting firm. Marketing, billing, hardware design, Linux firmware, Real-time firmware, Windows applications, and swept the floors.
• Delivered Embedded Linux based Laser analysis system. Included hardware design, Custom Linux distribution, and Linux custom hardware drivers. Embedded application written in C++ using custom object oriented OS layer..
• Windows Software Debugger backend: Object format parsing (ELF/Dwarf/COFF), symbols infrastructure, and C/C++ expression evaluation. (Windows x86/Visual C++/MFC)
• Maintained the “Nucleus C++” object oriented RTOS product for Accelerated Technology. Wrote C++ IP networking abstraction layers.

• Managed a consulting house doing all phases of product development.Products included:
• Delivered control panel for audio system, U.S. Senate Chamber Washington DC. Subcontractor responsible for all hw and software for redundant networked control panel. Embedded Linux on 586/AMD Geode. Configuration of.
• Natural gas monitoring system. Used by a major natural gas supplier to monitor quality on remote pipelines. Satellite communications system, real-time analysis, Windows user interface component. System had to be rock.
• Laser height measurement system for bridges. Laser HW, C real-time firmware on x86 communicating via RS-232 with Windows user interface application (C++/MFC/DAO)

• Bass player/co-leader of a rock and roll band. Lived in a van with four other guys and traveled the whole country for 2 ½ years. Grew up a lot. You learn a lot about yourself in close quarters with others with no place.
