Aaron started Meathead Movers in 1997, as a junior in high school as a way to make money to support himself, his younger brother and friends/teammates while being a competitive wrestler. Always wanting to be the best on and off the mat, he strived to create the best moving company by utilizing clean-cut, drug-free, athlete movers who are professionally-trained. Meathead has grown to become the largest independent moving company in California with over 320 employees and 80+ trucks. Currently, Meathead has five operation centers in Central and Southern California and three storage facilities with plans to expand in the future. They conduct 15,000+ moves annually and have 2,500+ owned mini storage units under management.Aaron and his team at Meathead Movers made the Inc. 5000 “Fastest growing companies in the US” list for eight years in a row, making them the top 2% of fastest growing companies in the country. Aaron has also been recognized as SBA’s (Small Business Administration’s) “Young Entrepreneur of the Year,” and the White House’s “Top 100 Entrepreneurs” under the age of 35 who are making a difference. His passion for serving the community is reflected in his company’s actions by providing unlimited free moving services to victims fleeing abusive relationships through the partnership of nine domestic violence shelter programs. And, he has served on the board of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Dignity Health’s French Hospital, Dream Makers and he is a founding member of Cal Poly’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center. He is also the Founder of the MoveToEndDV.org movement, which has inspired hundreds of businesses all over the world to give back to domestic violence programs. Outside of business, and in his earlier competitive years, Aaron was a 2x California State Finalist for Greco Roman and Freestyle Wrestling and qualified as a US National Team Member, has a 3-0 professional record in MMA, Junior College Western State Conference Champion. Aaron is a current IBJJF athlete (Jiu Jitsu) and regularly competes nationally and internationally at Purple Belt division.
