Managed BOM structure for multiple wafer inspection tools using Excel, Visio, and Enovia. Managed the schedule for the Common Platform group consisting of up to 15 different Engineers, contractors, and off-site employees using MS Project. Tracked, reviewed, and managed hundreds of ECOs from dozens of engineers per program for multiple generations of products using Excel and Enovia. Member of the Product Lifecycle Group for multiple projects. Created Statements of Work (SOW) and assisted with internal and external vendor management. Worked closely with offshore manufacturing in Singapore and offshore design in India.

Created, reviewed, and updated wiring diagrams, interconnect drawings and schematics for the National Ignition Facility using ProE and AutoCAD. Team leader and customer interface for a small group of Mechanical Designers where we worked closely with customers on designing and documenting custom enclosures, optical micro-positioners, cable assemblies, and rack mount chassis, equipment boxes, and other opto-electro-mechanical assemblies. Worked with various PLM systems including Enovia.

My responsibilities include the day to day documentation control inside of an ISO-13485 and an ISO-9001 regulatory environment. I also design new electrical connectors, cable assemblies, and related hardware using SolidWorks and am the primary PCB designer for the company. I developed a custom workflow for designing and documenting printed circuit boards inside of SolidWorks. To support manufacturing and bring my designs into production, I develop process documentation, procedures, tooling, test fixtures, and assembly fixtures for manufacturing, both locally and at remote manufacturing sites. I am responsible for training all the assemblers and diagnosing manufacturing line issues on all of my projects. I also work with vendors to develop new processes to manufacture custom connectors and cable assemblies. I am also the project manager for several customer requested design efforts. I am directly responsible for bringing several profitable products from conception through to production.

I created drawings for new parts and updating archived drawings to conform to new company standards. I was responsible for creating and maintaining drawing standards and for basic document control. I was also responsible for training new hires in the use of AutoCAD. Further, I designed a new BGA style custom test adapter and was responsible for handling direct customers requests for new and or updated drawings, creating pin-maps for adapter boards and maintaining drawings for the company website.

Responsible for creating all the documentation for custom designed software packages. Worked closely with the developers to try and make the product as user-friendly as possible. Assisted QA team in finding and fixing problems related to both the hardware backend and the new software. I also worked on basic database maintenance, company inventory, resume workshops for clients, reworking customer resumes, follow-up with old clients, and various other tasks.
