Aaron joined Acrisure as Chief Financial Officer in 2024.Immediately prior, Aaron was Head of Financial Services, Private Equity with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) where Aaron served as a board member or observer for several portfolio companies, including: Acrisure, Corient, Fullsteam, Merchants Fleet Automotive Group, and Prismic Life Re. During Aaron's tenure with ADIA, Aaron directly originated over $4 billion of new private equity investments.Previously, Aaron served as Global Head of Strategy & Corporate Development for MassMutual, a leading U.S. life insurer and asset management company. During Aaron's four-year tenure, MassMutual completed over $18 billion of transactions, including: the acquisition of American Financial's annuity business; the acquisition of Blackstone's stake in Rothesay Life together with GIC; the sale of MassMutual's retirement plan business to Empower; the sale of OppenheimerFunds to Invesco; the sale of MassMutual Japan to Nippon Life; and the sale of Hong Kong-based MassMutual Asia to a consortium including Ant Financial.Prior to joining MassMutual, Aaron served as Managing Vice President with Capital One Financial. While part of the broader Corporate Strategy Group, Aaron had a particular focus on helping to drive the company’s corporate development agenda. Of note, Capital One completed the $9 billion acquisition of ING Direct USA, and the $2.6 billion acquisition of HSBC's U.S. credit card business, both in 2012. Capital One also made numerous smaller fintech acquisitions during his tenure.Aaron received a BA in Economics and Public Policy Studies from Duke University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. Aaron and his family reside in Boston, Massachusetts.
