My role involved working with local authorities and deliver the resource funding to enable them to have the capacity and capability to deploy local charging infrastructure.I also worked closely with Cenex to develop the EV Infrastructure Training Course to support new entrants to the sector to upskill on the technical and delivery aspects of EV infrastructure deployment.

    My role within the Beach Clean Committee involved the organisation of events throughout the year, which enabled students to take-part in beach cleans across Cornwall. Our society provided an opportunity for students concerned about plastic pollution to improve our coastline for marine wildlife and people alike.During my time in the committee, I also coordinated a 'Zero Waste Workshop' which invited speakers including Earth.Food.Love (one of the first zero-waste shops in the UK), the Marine Conservation Society and other local groups to inspire students to take action in reducing their waste. This involved sourcing food from local sources which would have otherwise gone to waste.
