Research into on-board vehicle system architecture for fault detection, function deterioration and service bay diagnostics based around forward-facing system models with a combination of embedded sensors and diagnostic test points. Led team which developed approaches to predict failures in powertrain cooling and suspension systems using simulation models. Development of on-board diagnostics and prognostic vehicle demonstrator.
