Short term acting role.The Intelligence Team is a multidisciplinary technical team within the ACT Emergency Services Agency, it includes the Geospatial Intelligence Team, Digital Services Team, and Data Insights Team. Together they provide both operational and systems support to the agency and wider government. The team is further augmented by the MAPS volunteer service, a group of 50 dedicated spatial professionals who contribute additional geospatial capacity during emergencies.

Short term acting role as the assistant director geospatial intelligence within the Emergency Services Agency.

Responsible for the design and implementation of a spatial project, mapping archived offsets data made during The Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 referrals. When the demands of the section shifted I rapidly pivoted to assist in assessing referrals made under the EPBC Act, this included interpreting legislation, policies and complex scientific reports to prepare briefs for delegates to make decisions under the act

Responsible for the provision of first aid at community events.

Conducted a regional study of the Montney shale play (BC, Canada) and developed internal processes for the quantification of recovery in unconventional plays using common risk segment mapping. This method was reported on in the CSEG recorder (March 2016, (http://tiny.cc/i4b2ez)) and I presented the work at the AAPG conference in 2016. Working on the Warro Gas Field my duties included the analysis of geological data both pre and post drilling which included spending time on site during drilling and stimulation operations. Site operations included core logging and chip descriptions. During the project I had the opportunity to submit applications to the Department of Mines and Petroleum for special prospecting authorities.

West Perth

Initially my role within Neon Energy was the design and implementation of a GIS database. This project successfully increased the amount of geo-referenced maps available to the exploration team and importantly increased the use of archived maps on the system. Following this I was employed to assist the exploration team and concentrated primarily on the Salinas basin, California which became the topic of my honors thesis. During my time at Neon Energy I have increased my proficiency with several software packages including SMT Kingdom, TerraSciences log suit and ArcGIS.

JOI is a natural and organic skin care range developed and produced locally in Western Australia. Originally employed by JOI to redevelop an ageing online store, my role developed to provide maintenance, advice and management of the new online system. The project included the installation and substantial modification to a Magento package as well as the creation of site specific training manuals.

Duties involved ArcGIS auditing and data collection in support of the universities ongoing research. I was attached to both the Centre for Built up Environment and Health and the Centre for Urban and Regional Planning. I was recommended for this role due to my interest in GIS and performance in a related unit at university.
