Leads the sole Air Force Medical Service Gateway Innovation Academy. Manages daily operations and teaches curriculum covering Continuous Process Improvement, Lean Daily Management, Ethics in Leadership, Toyota Production System methodologies, Patient-Centered Quality, Change Management, and Project Management. Manages 41 Instructors delivering 27 lessons that aligns 80 curriculum hours with the strategic vision and goals of the 59th Medical Wing.

Oversees multiple process improvement events. Teaches and employs root cause analysis tools effecting real world issues across the 59th Medical Wing. Aides in removing waste and adding value to 48 product lines impacting 250,000 patients. Advises strategic leaders and supported 293 continuous process improvement events that recaptured 2.2K man hours for hospital staff and saved $12.6M in direct costs for the Air Force Medical Service during fiscal year 2017.

Guided the Air Forces' largest orthopedic and rehabilitation services flight. Led 81 medical staff and responsible for the effective management of an annual $9.6M operations budget that serves 1.7M Tricare beneficiaries. Directed highly productive surgical specialties generating $4.8M in care. Advised senior leaders on various human resource matters to include education, training, readiness, personal and professional growth of staff members. Mentors and steers career path to ensure the effective utilization of 25 physical/occupational therapist assistants and 5 orthotists.

Instructed 223 hour enlisted professional military education for Air Force mid-level managers. This course covered various topics such as; Change Management, Full-Range Leadership Development, Managerial & Interpersonal Communication skills, Progressive Discipline, Resource Management and Team Building. Administered tests and evaluated the oral and written and communication skills of 196 students annually. Collected student feedback data and rewrote course curricula to further enhance education experience for 7K students annually.
