In this role I led Information Technology for the publicly traded companies and divisions of Video Lottery Consultants (VLC), Video Lottery Technologies (VLT), Automated Wagering International (AWI), Powerhouse Technologies and Anchor Gaming. These companies merged with IGT and I became an IGT employee. Our team consisted of 20 support technicians. Systems analysts, network engineers, web developers and systems engineers. The technologies included an ERP system (JD Edwards), OS/400, Windows, Linux, and AIX. We had Cisco networking and Avaya telephony. We ran HP servers and storage, IBM laptops, HP PCs, and IBM mainframes. I successfully led the multimillion-dollar Y2K remediation which included all IT systems as well as all of the products we offered such as lottery systems and video gaming machines.

Worked as a Systems Administrator for EDS -a division of General Moters on the Video Lottery Technologies account. Supported implementations, troubleshooting and all life-cycle aspects of many different IT technologies including Windows, Cisco networking and Avaya telephony. We ran HP computers, IBM laptops, HP servers, and IBM mainframes- pSeries, and iSeries systems. International user base was 300.

I worked as a Service Manager for Inacom Information Systems. We were a computer services department consisting of 7 engineers and technicians offering authorized IBM, HP, Microsoft, Novell, Apple, Toshiba, NEC, and Compaq services. In this role I installed and maintained Novell and IBM LANs, servers, printers, software applications and other components for the government, universities, power companies, law offices, medical offices, mines, hospitals, banks, and retail businesses.
