Based 2.5 years in Toronto, 1 year in Oslo and 2 years in CopenhagenI transferred to the Nordic Region role to take on a greater challenge. As in Toronto I brought local support presence to a Region that previously had no local support team. I established this new service presence and built a support team. This role covered a very large range of services and responsibilities across 4 countries with different languages, currencies and business cultures.People MGMT - Task management, performance management, career and training guidance, new hire training, hiring requirements creation, candidate interviewing.Service Delivery MGMT - Manage relationships with local management teams, vendors, other business partners, and the parent company’s support team. Development of local policies and procedures.Infrastructure - Planning, procurement, deployment, maintenance and documentation.Incident/Change/Problem MGMT - Microsoft System Center Incident MGMT, network monitoring, and security for users and branch office hardware. User support.Workstation MGMT - Workstation deployment, accountability for regional IT asset management and reporting, budgeting and procurement for all workstation and accessories. Designed and built asset tracking database tool used by the entire department globally.
