I am a Canadian, Australian, Hong Kong national of Chinese origin who returned to Canada after having a marvellous time studying then working as a strategy consultant in the UK. At the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, leadership in strategic planning and data analytics is the cornerstone of my role as Associate Director. Our team's mission is to build and expand this capability for our organization to harness the power of data to inform decision-making and drive corporate performance. I also support numerous initiatives and programs via dotted functional lines to all business areas that cover such projects as forecasting, strategic initiatives, KPI development and tracking, new commercial opportunities, operational effectiveness, health and safety, risk, AI and innovation, and market intelligence. My prior role at Toronto Pearson was primarily managing the innovation and seed funding for new technology and human centred design thinking projects to improve processes, safety and passenger experience. Outside of the 14 years of project experience in strategy and research, I also contribute to the community through supporting the local counsel in recreational redevelopment ideas and volunteering on the Board at the North York Tennis Club. At the NYTC, I am proud to have led a transformation that had allowed the club to become a central community gathering point and a "home away from home" for many kids, families, tennis fans and everyone in between.
