Cisco Unified Computing System Platform Emulator (Cisco UCSPE):UCSPE is an emulator of Cisco UCS, a data center comprised of different types of servers and devices connected to Fabric Interconnect(Switch). Cisco UCS Manager(UCSM) provides unified, embedded management of compute, network and storage access resources in the Cisco UCS. The objective of emulator is to emulate these endpoint devices to be managed by UCS Manager Software, thus providing an environment like a real UCS data center to different types of users. Responsibilities : 1. Design, implementation and unit testing of features in UCSPE to emulate various data centre platforms and corresponding server specific features. 2. Close interactions with other engineering teams to gather feature requirements and QA team to aid in feature test plan development. Worked on 9 major releases of the product.

Dynamic Fault Injection Framework for Cisco UCSPE:Cisco UCS Platform Emulator (Cisco UCSPE) emulates hardware and software components of Cisco's data centre UCS, that can be managed by UCS manager software (UCSM). Monitoring the health of servers in UCS is one of the main features of UCSM. UCSM keeps track of server health by monitoring various sensors present in the motherboard of the servers, such as thermal, power, current, voltage etc. and if the sensor value goes beyond a certain threshold, it throws a fault. Responsibilities:1. Design and development of framework in UCSPE, that enables user to trigger/remove sensor faults by dynamically changing the sensor values of servers.2. Testing the framework with different types of sensors.
