Hi there! I'm Aarthi Srinivasan, a student at Simon Fraser University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Behavioural Neuroscience and a minor in Counselling and Human Development. My fascination with the brain and behaviour fuels my passion for fostering greater mental health awareness and breaking down societal stigmas.My journey into mental health advocacy began in high school, where I founded the school’s first mental health club. Partnering with Our Minds Matter, a U.S.-based non-profit, I spearheaded conversations about mental well-being, empowering my peers to address challenges openly and embrace holistic health practices.Currently, I’m working as a Behavior Interventionist, an experience that has deepened my interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role has inspired my goal of becoming a Behavior Analyst, where I aim to apply evidence-based strategies to support individuals with ASD and other developmental differences.Outside of academics, I express my creativity through graphic design and marketing. I love crafting promotional content that’s not just visually captivating but also meaningful. Whether it's building compelling campaigns or experimenting with design concepts, I thrive in blending creativity with communication.Looking ahead, I aspire to make a difference in behavioural analysis by combining science, empathy, and creativity.
