AAFP specializes in live performance photography, parades and other challenging live events. I currently serve as the House Photographer for the Santa Barbara Bowl and the Arlington Theatre. CannDynamics, Inc. is a medical cannabis education and technology company.

I designed and implemented the production workflow utilizing multiple WANs for image processing and design. The system utilized the Amazon S3 Cloud for processing some eight hundred images per semi-annual issue, all passed around electronically among several remote offices. Additionally, I implemented an Adobe Acrobat Shared Review system for the entire design process. Files passed among production, editorial, design and client personnel, from original layout through final approval, with all comments and production notes documented at every stage. The whole Shared Review system ran on one of my cloud servers.I also served as the Photo Specialist, for which I processed and corrected every image printed in their publications. Occasionally, I also contributed photography services.

As the primary founder, I came up with the idea for the company. I invented the company's premiere product, the iPermit, managing the patent application and filing with the USPTO. I also served on the Board of Directors through mid 2001.I generated all the company's logos, graphics, trade show materials, (designed the trade show booth and user experience) and look and feel of the company's original websites.As CTO, I built, installed and managed the company's servers and was responsible for system design, purchasing, installation and maintenance of all the company's computers, firewalls and networks. The LAN and WANs consisted of multiple platforms: Windows 2000 Pro, Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, Red Hat Linux, Win 2K Server, Cisco IOS.I designed the entire manufacturing process of the iPermit, including researching and ordering and installing the commercial manufacturing equipment and making custom modifications to it to adapt it to our workflow. I also put together the entire printing system which used an array of computers and software to organize and print millions of variable data iPermits. Each iPermit was unique with it's own permit number and barcode.
