As a Production and Quality engineer at Aurolab, I was involved in the development of a Portable Medical Equipment (Autorefractor) which is the first of it's kind. I gained a complete experience of how "Operations" (Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Marketing) are dealt with in a Multi National Company. Also, I was acting as a communication bridge between my organisation and an US based company PlenOptika, whose founders were from the Ivy league (MIT'ians). My key roles in the project were: Technical documentation of Manufacturing Procedures, Production Planning, Ensuring KPI'S were met, Liaisoning with the clients and Quality Control of the product.
