Tunnel control engineer for The Norwegian Roads Association on the Nordøyvegen project. Type of tunnel excavation: regular drill and blast. Job tasks: follow up the tunnelling excavation on two subsea tunnels, determining the scope and need for stability and support in the tunnel, geological mapping using the Q-method, inspection of past stability installations, assessing and determining as well as following up the need for rock grouting in water filled parts of the tunnel.

TEMPORARY INVOLVEMENT as a tunnel control engineer for the Fv. 17/720 Strømnes-Sprova project outside Steinkjer, Central Norway. Type of tunnel excavation: drill and blast. Job tasks: following up the tunnel excavation works for two tunnels; the Holmvik and the Strømnes tunnel. Geological mapping using the Q-method, determining the need for stability and support means in the tunnel, inspecting past safety installations, determining, assessing and following up rock grouting to deal with water inflows. Also involved in inspecting the ground floor after the tunnel excavation was finished, following up piping and water and frost seal works.

Tunnel control engineer for The Norwegian Railroads Association on the New Ulriken tunnel project.Type of tunnel excavation: TBM.Job tasks: follow up the tunnel excavation of the new Ulriken tunnel using a Herrenknecht TBM. Geological mapping using the Q-method, fracture mapping for determining disc cutter wear, determining, assessing and following up rock grouting on a TBM, inspecting past tunnel safety installations. Also working partially on inspecting the ground floor works, mainly concrete, for constructing the foundation of the new railroad track.

Tunnel control engineer for The Norwegian Railroads Association on the Farriseidet - Porsgrunn project. Type of tunnel excavation: regular drill and blast. Job tasks: follow up the tunnelling excavation on two land tunnels, determining the scope and need for stability and support in the tunnel, geological mapping using the Q-method, inspection of past stability installations, assessing and determining as well as following up the need for rock grouting in water filled parts of the tunnel.Also heavily involved in inspecting the ground floor works following the tunnel breakthroughs, such as ground floor inspection for constructing the foundation of the new railroad track, piping in ditches, water and frost seal works and outer concrete layers of the tunnel.
