Aashay Mehta, MS, is a Research Associate I within the Modeling and Simulation group of Evidera based in Bethesda, Maryland. His responsibilities include assisting with the development of cost-effectiveness model, budget-impact model, conducting systematic and non-systematic literature review. He also provides support with the creation of technical report, guides and presentations based on project needs. Prior to joining the Bethesda team, he completed his master’s in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University. During his master’s degree he worked as a research assistant and develop a multi-state survival analysis model to predict statistically significant biomarkers amongst cancer patients (lymphoma). He has also had the opportunity of implementing machine learning algorithms, such as random forest, decision tree, XGBoost, etc., to predict the presence of infectious disease upon admission of patients into Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Mr. Aashay is skilled in programming languages including R, SAS, Python, VBA, Arena.
