Key tasks and responsibilities; Financial/Business Analysis  Providing the situational analysis of the best strategies to be applied for the birds input, production and sales. Analyzing the pros and cons of the new products development. Profitability analysis of the product developments. Analysis of capacity enhancement and developments. Providing the analysis of the projects to be implemented. Preparation of forecast for projects and investments.Finance and Accounting• Preparation and evaluation of the Management accounts.• Preparation of the budgets and financial forecasts.• Overlooking of the production unit financial and wages related activities.• Preparation of the costing for the segments, processes and products.Reporting Activities• Directly reported to the financial controller on the investment, proposals and developments.• Preparation of the analysis and reports requested by the top management.• Coordinating with the Accountant on the implementation of the new ERP system.

GL Process• Timely Reporting to Agencies/HO for consolidation, Financial Analysis & Reconciliations and Adhoc reporting.• Effectively with agency and other streams to complete the sub ledger closing as per the HO deadlines Month end sub ledger and GL closure activities for the relevant agencies• Performing the internal controls in the process such as sub ledger reconciliation, Balance sheet reconciliation etc.• Deliver on accurately and timely all adhoc requests, MIS information and other requested data• Calculation of Commissions and freight tax for the principles (Subsidiaries).• Ensure Agency assets balances are updated on UBS System and reconciles with the Ocean balances• Ensuring good relationship with internal/external customers and other stake holders (HO Financial Controllers)• Ensure CIRA Updating happen on time/accuratelyAP Process• Successfully completed the task entrusted in the capacity of a senior executive of account payable process and achieved key critical SLA’s of the process handled by myself for the South East Asian Shipping Agencies-Vietnam, Malaysia & Thailand.• Being maintaining a close and healthy relationship with all key business stakeholders such as CMA local agencies, AP & AR teams, BA team and SSC Indian team which are a mandatory requirement of shipping F&A process. • Preparation of monthly AP KPI reports, month end reports for internal and external stakeholders and providing commentary on the significant movements which have had an impact to the financial and operational performance of the respective shipping agency. • Mentored and Trained new recruits to the process, contribution rendered in facilitating knowledge transfer to the assigned buddies. Reporting Activities• Directly reported to the Dep. General Manager on the reporting of KPI’s of the all agencies.• Worked on the centralizing the audit process, reporting to the Dep. General Manager on preparing the proposal.
