Over 20 years Audit and Accounts experience gained in public practice.Currently focusing on Audit engagements with responsibility for a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from owner managed businesses to publicly listed AIM clients. Involved in the preparation of IFRS financial statements where an auditor in conflicted. Examples include:- Preparation of interim and final consolidated financial statements for an AIM listed exploration and development company primarily focused on coal mining in East Africa. This involves liaising with in-house accounts and tax teams, auditors of subsidiary as well as the group auditors.- Preparation of interim and final consolidated financial statements for AIM listed company with subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Consolidation involved mid year acquisitions and a mid year change in shareholding leading to an associate becoming a subsidiary.Other experience includes; - Share option valuations,- Due diligence,- Solicitors’ Account Rules.
