Technical Support Specialist
CurrentFuturon Technologies is a fast-paced 24/7 IT managed services provider with clients based around the globe. As part of the technical specialist’s team, my role consisted of the following. • Delivering large projects to clients where O365 is the focus • Leading the delivery of the technology projects • Email migrations (on-prem to O365, tenant to tenant migrations using migration wiz) • Data Migrations (SharePoint, Egnyte, G-Suite, SPOL, On-Prem) • Microsoft O365 (inc. Teams / OneDrive / SharePoint) • Microsoft Licensing • Using Powershell to configure AD / O365 • Azure / Endpoint Manager / AAD • Conditional Access / Compliance Policies / Configuration Profiles / Autopilot • Mobile Device Management (iOS & Android Intune builds) • O365 Hardening (advising on weaknesses and putting strategies in place to harden tenants) • Making infrastructure changes recommended by penetration testing results • Giving pre-sales guidance to Client Engagement Managers • Server virtualization and architecture • 3rd line support (resolving escalated tickets from 2nd line support) • Assessing new and innovative technologies and preparing to advocate internally • Sharing knowledge and actively mentoring less experienced members of the company
