Conduct research and develop presentations to address prevalent social and health disparities in rural Rajasthan, India. Collaborate with fellow Initiatives team members to design workshops and compile data for our international NGO partner to implement. Current initiatives include Lucky Shakti Leaf (combating iron-deficiency anemia in women) and EcoFemme (promoting sustainable menstrual health).

Lead and coordinate recreation programs such as arts & crafts or outdoor games for elementary-school children. Work with youth to help them develop and build life skills such as sportsmanship and scholarship.

Participated in hands-on experience with implanting and producing an intraocular lens when working with the Clinical and Research & Development Departments at LensGen. Gained insight into how biomedical devices are developed and brought to market.
