As a global expert in airfield ground lighting (AGL) systems, I bring 18 years of experience in the airport consulting industry to the table. My extensive knowledge in AGL systems, apron systems, power distribution systems, and control systems, has allowed me to lead the design of AGL system packages and be actively involved in all aspects of project lifecycle.I have a deep understanding of integrated design, future proofing and sustainability, and how it can be applied to enhance the overall performance of AGL systems. I stay current with the latest AGL technologies and am an adopter of advanced 3D designs. My expertise extends to being well-versed with ICAO aerodrome design manuals and airport services manuals, as well as FAA AGL design methodology and FAA advisory circulars for electrical engineering topics.I am a registered Professional Engineer with ECSA, a member of the SAIEE, the CESA Western Cape Branch Treasurer and the Special Airport Airside Systems Lead for NACO (a Royal HaskoningDHV company).
