I got the opportunity to work and learn at the DBT centre for Molecular Biology and Cancer Research of Dr.B.Borooah Cancer institute , Guwahati . I had a good learning experience there . Over the span of one month , I got to learn various laboratory skills , came across numerous pieces of information and I hope that this would help me in my future endeavours .I specially learnt about oro-pharyngeal cancer and it's impact on Northeast . During this internship I learnt skills like - Sample collection from patients and processing it for further extraction , nucleic acid extraction , blood processing and seperation of its components , automated DNA extraction , PCR for HPV , agarose Gel electrophoresis and many more skills . It was indeed a nice experience for me and very informative .
