As a Data Engineer at D&B Properties, I design and build scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to support the company's real estate business. I use Python, SQL, and Azure technologies to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, and optimize data delivery and performance. I also troubleshoot and recover daily ETL processes and provide root cause analysis.Before joining D&B Properties, I worked as a Data Engineer at BlackSwan Technologies, where I developed Python scripts to automate data analysis and organization. I also created and maintained data pipeline architecture using SQL and Azure 'big data' technologies, and contributed to internal process improvements. In addition, I have experience in Power BI, data warehousing, and SQL server from my previous role as an Associate Data Engineer.I have a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Colombo School of Computing, where I learned the fundamentals of data science, web development, and information technology. I also hold certifications in Responsive Web Design, Applied Data Science with R, and Creating and Giving Business Presentations. I am fluent in Tamil and English, and passionate about data and real estate. I speak code, sometimes words, and always strive to learn and grow as a data engineer.
