As Undergraduate Representative at UCACC, I serve as the voice of University of California system Undergraduate students (230K+) in technology-related matters. I advise the President on technology acquisition and policy issues, ensuring student perspectives are considered in decision-making processes.

Undergraduate Representative and Advisor to UCLA's Library and Scholarly Communications Committee representing Library and Scholarly communication and UCLA faculty and students. Advise the Univeristy Chancellor and Library Administration concerning the administration of the Library and scholarly communication and all matters of library policy.

Undergraduate student researcher in the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory (CNL, PI: Dr. Itzhak Fried), studying the neural basis of memory in humans. Under the lab’s project scientist John Sakon, I collect screening stimuli (e.g. images, audio, videos) to show epilepsy patients in the hospital at UCLA Medicine to find concept neurons via intracranial electrical recordings of their brains. I also translate and annotate patient audio recall to help researchers align neural signals with their memory retrieval. I also train new undergraduate researchers and lead onboarding and training for undergraduate RA’s. In CNL, I have gained expertise in Penn Total Recall, neural models, and continue to learn the basics of python.

I created a social media initiative (facebook, instagram, snapchat) in response to poor voter education to help people understand complex policies in a visually appealing & comprehensible way. To increase political literacy in the 2020 election, I researched all California propositions and created unbiased, attractive, engaging infographics. I posted these infographics to instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc. and achieved 600+ views. I debated, informed, & conversed with 50+ people about the propositions and their information. I promoted campaigns over zoom & worked to educate families across the country about political campaigns and ideals. I explained myths & misinformation using data & facts and finally wrote a project report for Contra Costa College, receiving Commendation from Professor Snead for the initiative.
