One part is licensing whereby the licenses for the SCOMET items of export are issued based on discussions held with the IMWG (The Inter-Ministerial Working Group),and the meeting conducted once in a month under the chairmanship of Additional DGFT. • Part of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group Committee to bring out the Internal Compliance Program (ICP) and mapping of the Indian SCOMET list in line with the Australia Group (AG) and the Wassenaar Arrangement (WA).• Preparing technical reports by studying, analyzing, interpreting and classifying classified data.• My duties involve making agenda and minutes of meeting and putting up those minutes for approval. Based on the approval of officers, licenses are issued. Other being, handling /supervising/ administering the export policy of India. Continuous amendments are done in export policy as per the domestic requirements or on the recommendation of line ministries, Embassies, Cabinet Ministers etc.• After that we need to notify the changes in the export policy via notifications, public notices and trade notices. • Few other works involves incorporating the arranging meetings, handling RTIs and personal hearings. I did an Internship and My work is of International Business Development Included activities like day to day contacting foreign clients, get inquiries, give Quotations etc. I started export from the company and did 3 export shipments during my internship period.

In my Internship my day to day activities was to Interact with clients and follow up with them, Help CHA to prepare documents of export/import shipments, E-File import/export documents online using the ICEGATE software, For the custom clearance of shipments at the ICD Dhannad, Indore.
