Boulder Justice Center

As a Family Navigator I serve juvenile families who enter the Boulder 20th Judicial System delinquent system. Daily duties include going to court, and navigating juvenile parents through the process while connecting them to county resources. The main purpose of my position is to eliminate barriers families are experiencing while involved in the judicial.

Boulder County

Along with other country co-workers I helped roll out the Affordable Care Act in Boulder County. This included outreach presentations to the public. Assisting families and individuals with applying for tax credits and Cost Sharing plans who were eligible through the Affordable Care Act. The position required a lot of communication with HCPF (Colorado's.

Boulder Valley School District

As an outreach specialist through the Boulder County Healthy Kids Initiative I helped kids and their families enroll into the medicaid and CHP+ programs. The enrollments occurred through outreach events I conducted, as well as processing Medical applications to enroll eligible families into the states medical programs.

The Healthy Kids Initiative hired me as their program specialist. My roll as a specialist included: Enrolling families into Medicaid/CHP+ Programs, helping families trouble shoot their Medicaid/CHP+ Applications, as well access to medical providers once enrolled in the state medical programs.
