Having worked with this fund on project funding for YPM, I took on the role of CFO. I registered the fund as an exempt entity with the SEC. I led the effort to establish and register the company as a hedge fund. This effort involved establishing banking and brokerage accounts and facilitating specialized and complicated transfer mechanisms to bring in over $1 billion in assets in my first six months. I was heavily involved in setting up the administration, custody, compliance, treasury, reporting and related platform functions with major banks and brokerage firms. On a daily basis I worked with business development to assist in onboarding significant new client relationships, managed the transfers and ensured a smooth transition of funds to the trading department.
