About Alan Avedovech
I am a sales and marketing professional and outdoor educator with 10+ years of experience within the outdoor industry in product sales and technical instruction.My passion for the outdoors lead me to become an outdoor educator focusing primarily on access in the mountains (rock climbing, ice climbing, splitboard mountaineering). In college I helped design a progression of for credit rock and ice climbing courses that by the end of my 4 year college career had more than 1000 students participate in the program. After college I took a job in sales at the Black Diamond Retail Store where I learned about outdoor product and technologies. I became familiar with the entire Black Diamond product line and was able to educate users in purchasing the right equipment for their adventures.In 2015 I took a job at a rock climbing company in Thailand as the Sales and Marketing Manager. I was immersed in culture and responsible for growing sales while focusing on the growth and development of my team. Since I began the company has grown its revenue and community members each year and we have implemented and trained on an entirely new standard operating procedures system.My passion for adventure, background in outdoor education, knowledge about equipment, and understanding for building cross-cultural relationships is the culmination of my life's adventures and I look forward to growing revenue for a company the aligns with my passion for travel and adventure.
