Part of Technical Support Unit set-up with Government of India to administer the flagship Crop Insurance Scheme - Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. Major accomplishments include - - Supported strategic initiatives including Revamping Scheme Design, World Bank aided ARRIA Program, setting up Insurance Risk Pool, and evaluating alternative administrative structures, in close coordination with Prime Minister’s Office, NITI Aayog, etc.- Transformed the Insurance Pricing, Bid Analysis, and Risk-based Clustering processes by developing analytical solutions leading to savings of over Rs 550 crore in Government Subsidy- Liaised with over 50 stakeholders including State Governments, Insurance Companies, Reinsurers and various State/Central Agencies to ensure smooth implementation of the Scheme- Worked extensively with Financial Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Communication teams for identification of gaps and opportunities

- Established the analytics team for Health Insurance Captive Business for Middle Eastern markets- Integral team member in the business strategy team for decisions and implementation of Product Management, Business Development, Underwriting, and Operations Management strategies- Managed various inter-departmental projects for development and roll-out of systems for streamlining operations, monitoring and reporting processes- Developed and automated models for Business Planning, Underwriting Decisions, and Cashflow Management using MS Excel, VBA and SQL- Spearheaded the development of data queries and data dictionary for the business vertical- Part of the Core team for organizational implementation of BI system using Qliksense

- Assisted appointed actuary, underwriters, and other departments in pricing, reserving, business analysis/monitoring and regulatory reporting, primarily in the Property & Casualty lines- Assisted insurers in preparing bids for major contracts such as erstwhile Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) and RIL Jamnagar Refinery- Created various excel-based tools to automate reporting; was part of a pilot project to create a property reinsurance pricing model- Led a data integrity project to understand challenges within operational processes that lead to poor data quality, and formulating solutions to tackle the identified issues - Modeled domestic earthquake exposures using RMS
