As an engineering student, I have done several projects where my team management andcollaborative skills were heavily tested, and thus, have grown. In the Spring of 2018, I had the opportunity to design and develop a project called the ‘Crypto eXchange Information Analysis’, which is an intuitive website that summarizes cryptocurrency trading volumes, prices, and trading indicators such as the Chaikin Oscillator. I gained experience in manipulating XML and JSON data, NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and data visualization using external APIs such as Google Charts. Additionally, in the Summer of 2018, I had the opportunity to work for Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics located in Wayne, NJ under the supply-chain team. There I created software that simplified report generation and data entry processes by creating Excel templates utilizing the VBA language and tools such as WinSCP and batch scripting. I also performed data analytics, specifically on supplier performance, inventory levels and sales/production backlog. I had the chance to research Industry 4.0 focusing on data transparency and systems integration. Lastly and most importantly I gained experience in a corporate environment, collaborating with a cross-functional team and working individually
