I am an aspiring cyber analyst and a cybersecurity undergraduate student at the University of North Texas. Cybersecurity is not a war with soldiers, planes or artillery, but rather with networks and computers. It is fascinating how much damage a single person can cause even up to a global scale and that is what fascinates me. In this war, defense is equally if not more important than offense. Through my experience as an international student, I learned to be dedicated and persistent and, in some cases, even restless when the job at hand is not done. My coursework and certifications have provided me with foundational skills in programming, incident and threat detection, and network security. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios and contribute to the fight against the ever-evolving cyber threats, by protecting organizations and networks and simultaneously giving myself an opportunity to grow and prosper in the cyberspace.
