Development of portlets, hooks, themes and exts on Liferay portal for Reliance Power. The portlets being thebuilding blocks of the Intranet portal which is the product being built for Reliance Power. Portaldevelopment involves deploying transactional websites, managing web and social content and creatinggadgets and dashboards.

Develop test portlets for JBoss Portal. JBoss Portal provides an open source platform for hosting and serving a portal'sWeb interface, publishing and managing its content, and customizing its experience.

 Enhance knowledge of Liferay Portal and its functionalities. Study product design and usability. Understand the Intranet requirements and functionalities required in the organization. Mapping requirements to create sites, organizations and pages for the portal. Develop portlets for the intranet. Develop hooks to customize default Liferay functionalities. Define custom user roles and use pre listed roles in order to manage user access and data entrypermissions. Work at client location for successful implementation of the product. Step-wise implementation of the proposed intranet solution.
