I taught and advised students in-lab as a part of their General Chemistry and Quantitative Analysis Course (Chemistry 4A and Chemistry 4B). I guided and assisted them with lab practices that involved absorbance and fluorescence spectroscopy, calorimetry, and nanoparticle synthesis. Additionally, I helped them in understanding lecture material that included molecular orbital theory and thermodynamics.

As a member of the LOLA team, used machine learning algorithms and an app interface to develop key insights about beer sales.I determined key variables that correlated to increased use of LOLA via multiple linear regression for wholesalers and sales reps.I performed clustering analysis to ID top users of LOLA; identified opportunities to train weaker users and increase sales lift.Using PowerBI, I created a 30-day rolling count of retailers viewed on the LOLA app

I was responsible for the progress of each of ChemE Car’s 12 teams, and the way each individual team could be incorporated into the competition car we design, annually. I also assessed and edited SOPs to ensure safety and reproducibility of the reactions and mechanisms used run the car. I proctored work sessions for multiple teams each week, and I organized team socials and planned a team retreat in order to foster a greater team spirit.

I then used the reaction between sodium alginate and calcium chloride to turn a liquid into a gelatinous substance and measured the resistance as it varied with time. I was responsible for evaluating process flows of DS processes in various stages of development and I created a multi-layered template for PFDs to support the drug substance technology transfer packet that Celgene provides to its contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs); this became the platform for a new plant design in 2018. Further, I aided in PFD standardization across various drug substances to streamline the company’s analysis of process robustness.
