"Engineering is the closest thing to magic that exists in this world" - Elon Musk. I am an entrepreneur with a deep focus and passion for building software products that have a global impact. Right from the freshmen year, I have been constantly engaging with organizations of all sizes and scale to learn & practice software engineering. At OpsLyft, we are building a unified manager of the cloud. The manager helps software teams to create visibility of costs & performance of their applications deployed on any cloud infrastructure. Software teams can automate routine cloud management operations and use the recommendations and insights published by the platform to optimize the infrastructure costs without compromising on application reliability and performance. Business teams can calculate and correlate infrastructure spend with business KPIs to find actionable insights for increasing their return on investment they make on the cloud. We are headquartered in San Francisco and have offices in Asia. We are hiring currently, do give us a shoutout if our vision excites you :)

Founder & CeoOpslyft Dec 2019 - PresentSan Fransisco, California, UsOpsLyft is a cloud spend management platform to help engineering and finance teams build cost-optimized software by eliminating manual work on reducing cloud spends and mapping it with business metrics and product features. In 2020, the average cloud spend for SaaS vendors across the globe is estimated to be $5M per year, out of which 35% is generally a waste on unused, idle, and underutilized resources due to lack of proper visibility and gaps in communication between engineering and finance teamsOpsLyft solves this problem by providing a real-time view of cloud spend by grouping it by applications, by services, and by deployments, etc. It enables engineering managers to create and maintain cloud budgets across teams. DevOps teams can create highly configurable policies, rules & automation using Slack, CLI, and through our SDK. Finance teams can create cost-drivers of running software and see a detailed distribution of cloud spend - by features, by customers, by revenue, etc.In short - OpsLyft is building a data-driven personal cloud economist which bridges the gaps between finance & engineering teams for building a cost-optimized software -

Software Engineering InternRunnr May 2015 - Jul 2015Bengaluru, Karnataka, InRunnr is a B2B platform that offers hyper-local logistics services that partners with merchants. I joined Runnr as Data Science intern right after their Series-A funding. One of the core goals that Runnr had at that point of time was that the incoming orders from merchants had to be assigned to the most efficient delivery executive based on historical data of his past performance for similar orders. I built the first version of this system which went into production as well. -
Co-FounderChefensa Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. Oct 2014 - Apr 2015Chefensa was the first entrepreneurial experience of my career. I joined the Chefensa's founding team during the 3rd year of my undergrads as the company's first software engineer. General set of responsibilities included:* Building the order management system to accept the incoming food orders of customers through Mobile app, assign to the delivery executive based on availability and update the inventory count in real-time on the mobile app. * Hiring and managing college interns to build the web-platform that included - order management system, company website, v2 version of mobile app (both Android and iOS) -
Software Engineering InternIndix May 2014 - Jul 2014Seattle, Wa, UsIndix was building the world's largest database of marketplace products. I joined Indix as an intern during the 2nd year of my undergrads. This was my first experience of seeing solutions to real-world problems using software engineering. My 12 week project work was to internationalize the crawling systems. Earlier, the crawling systems were capable of extracting data from English language websites only. With this software patch in place, we were able to extract data from other foreign language websites as well, such as Japanese. I completed this project in 6 weeks. Other than my assigned project, I happened to be the notorious kid in the company who kept of hacking stuff here and there. Some of the cool things that I did were:* Built a chrome extension for comparing marketplace products for personal use. I thought it would be cool to distribute it to my friends as well. This resulted in the throttling of our API leading a production downtime. I am thankful enough to Indix for not being fired for this. * Built a lead tracking system for customer success team that maintained a Google spreadsheet for ongoing deals and their stages, customer queries and their response status, etc. I never knew that I was re-inventing the wheel by building a CRM until they started using HubSpot. Nonetheless, CS team took me for my first ever night club party for doing this.
