Provide leadership for the Specialist Incubator program at the Artfield Institute of Design in Kampala, Uganda. Design, oversee, and review the program curriculum, which is designed to help students focus on creative ideas, and technical skills and have a good understanding of contemporary digital culture and the corporate design landscape. Leverage networks with industry experts to facilitate learning opportunities for students.

Facilitate teachings on the students’ focus areas and how they can transform their skills into viable career paths and entrepreneurial ideas; design thinking, art direction andstrategy development, as well as how to design campaigns for all forms of advertisingincluding social and traditional media.Supervise students’ projects and provide guidance throughout the program.

Designing a curriculum which covered basic audio, signal flow, sound design and applying the sounds for motion picture and animation.Conducting classes and lectures including private instruction for the students during the holidays.Setting up their post-production studio and procuring audio equipment to expand into music production.

Regularly interfacing with artists and management on all aspects of commercial release plans and marketing strategy to insure the success of the project. Marketing includes creating branding, strategy, timelines and overseeing execution of radio, digital, publicity, licensing, distribution and strategic marketing.Working closely with internal teams, including Distribution, A&R, Digital Operations & Marketing, Video and Audio Production, Events Production as well as external partners.Setting and achieving streaming, sales and revenue targets and providing reporting and feedback to artist managers and executives as required.Representing Swangz Avenue at artist showcases; gigs, plus relevant industry conferences and events.

Manage & coordinate full A&R lifecycle, from research to recording/production process to product release.Build and maintain relationships with artists, managers, producers, engineers, and song writers and seek out new relationships as necessary to ensure artist success.Work closely with all necessary departments and team members including marketing, publicity, promotion, commerce, legal and finance to ensure recorded material is commercially successful
