• Perform monthly financial close functions through preparation and review of financial statements for Austin Market• Prepare/review all necessary journal entries to record transactions and successfully reconcile balance sheet accounts in compliance with GAAP and SOX accounting• Manage risk and ensure compliance with internal controls through risk assessment • Plan and collaborate with operational teams for annual financial budget process, coordinate and facilitate three-month financial forecast on a monthly basis• Support and mentor accounting team through analysis of day to day A/P and A/R tasks to encourage growth and skill development while maintaining accurate and timely completion• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships across departments to encourage interdepartmental cooperation and strategic planning to align financial goals with operational objectives
