I directly managed a team of 8 on a daily basis and up to 26 in total in my senior position at the company. Whilst primarily responsible for the production and development of groundbreaking e-learning platforms and content (creating a bespoke multistream online video system and recording rig. Utilising Adobe Media Encoder, After Effects, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Flash and Microsoft developer tools), I was also constantly working as part of the sales effort presenting and negotiating contracts with our clients. This called for strong communication skills and confident yet balanced negotiating approach. I played a major part in helping the company through business transitions both good and bad. During my time at a2om, the company acquired major clients including The AA, Unilever, Thames Valley Police, Greater Manchester Police, The MET, The MOD and more. Show less

I worked on two products: The first delivering high-resolution 2D imagery across narrow-band internet connections. This involved complex bucket streaming technology that broke the image down into layers at different levels of 'zoom' across a grid of thumbnail images (like a puzzle). The requested section of the image was then streamed and decompressed on the client side allowing extremely close up viewing by the end user whilst utilising very small amounts of internet bandwidth. The second product delivered 2D and 3D real-time media to the web browser primarily for the use of advertising. Again highly efficient delivery of the data meant users across the globe could access high quality, in browser visuals without the need for fast internet access. The development platform for the 3D online delivery engine was based on Autodesk 3DS Max and used proprietary tools. Cross conversion of assets was often an issue.I worked with teams in London and New York. Clients included Yahoo!, Aston Martin cars, BAA and British Airways. Show less

I was head hunted from Freehand to work in pre-sales at Superscape. Here I demonstrated and presented with the sales team as we worked to roll out cutting-edge products based around the online delivery of 3D content over narrow-band technology (such as 56k modems and early mobile devices). The other major side of the business was PC games production based on the same 3D platform (developed in-house over many years) and here I worked directly with clients such as Lego on projects… Show more I was head hunted from Freehand to work in pre-sales at Superscape.
