Europe regional lead for strategic sourcing of connectors & terminals, including parts purchased from North America & Asia Pacific. Responsible for contract negotiation & management, price lists, cost savings, supplier relationships, resourcing, category strategy creation & execution, new program sourcing.

- strategic purchasing of turbocharger variable turbine geometry components and assemblies, precision machined parts, electronics- contract management, collection of agreed savings- monitoring competitiveness of the supply base, identifying sustainable cost saving opportunities as design/product changes, new sources or technologies, process optimization, executing cost saving projects for serial programs- leading supplier negotiations- supporting new program sourcing as commodity expert, recommending potential suppliers- purchasing SAP key user- escalation point for Logistics in case of supplier delivery issues.

- supporting role for Commodity/Strategic Buyers- regular maintenance of component prices, purchase orders, vendor accounts, SAP MM Purchasing data- purchasing SPOC for change management process (CM2)- RFQ and PO creation- tooling order creation, initiation and owner of tool validation process- strategic buyer of small components commodity

- raw material stock level optimization- supplier scheduling, transport planning- participation in production planning- managing supplier capacity constraints, delivery problems, crisis situations- regular maintenance of SAP MM module (MRP planning)- individual material optimization

- order fulfilment, single point of contact for external customers, internal contract managers, field engineers in the Middle East region- coordination of the supply chain (engineering, purchasing, warehouses)- delivery planning and execution, customer claim investigation- handling of key customers accounts, high value & high focus projects (30M$ to 80M$ per contract)- key user of transport management system
