- Communicate with the application support and product teams on a daily basis to understand business needs, build requirements and provide solutions to optimize operational efficiency.- Follow mainstream agile software engineering processes and techniques such as pair programming, two weeks sprint, continuous integration with Jenkins, pull requests and code review on Github and ticketing system using JIRA. - Maintain, evolve and clean up the main legacy Admin application using Ruby on Rails as well as the main database schema by reorganizing data and removing legacy fields, records and tables (PostgreSQL).- Maintain and improve our sale creation tool written in Meteor and backed by MongoDB.- Take part in the technical evidence gathering for auditing purposes.- Interview new potential candidate applying for technical positions.- Participate in meetings with tech members to decide on the future of our architecture.- Develop new applications, tools and services using the following technologies: Ruby on Rails, Scala, Play Framework, MyBatis, SQL, ElasticSearch, Meteor, MongoDB, PL/pgSQL.

In charge of developing the admin tools for the website www.les-horaires.fr (www.shopping-time.com). Basically, I developed CRUD(L) functions for all entities (shops, malls, etc) as well as moderation and checking tools in PHP, Javascript and AJAX.

I worked as a researcher at the laboratory for Web & Information Technology. I designed and implemented in Java a parser for C3D files including sanity check, data normalization, etc. I also customized Hibernate to allow array types. Then, I performed SQL query analysis to find bottlenecks. Finally, I built an importer for large sets of C3D files.

I worked as a student teaching assistant for the programming course of the first bachelor in civil engineering. My tasks were to help students with their projects and homework as well as overseeing students' practical classes. Eventually, I was in charge of giving the practical part of the programming exam.
