• Plan, monitor and document testing and inspection of materials and products in the form of a Databook, to ensure finished product quality• Interpret and implement quality assurance standards• Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards• Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data• Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems• Collect and compile statistical quality data• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality documentation system• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities• Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards• Support on-site audits conducted by external providers• Implement appropriate corrective actions resulting from audit findings• Monitor risk management systems• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

Project 1: Responsible for verifying heat numbers through the GE database and documenting any issues with those numbers.Project 2: Responsible for obtaining GE & Shell signatures on the Structural ITP’s for billing for the 3rd quarter.Project 3: Responsible for maintaining the Quality Department Data Books for several modules at one time: Verification of weld maps for accuracy. Maintaining the NDE requirements. Weld Log data entry. Maintaining & uploading the reports for every aspect of each module.

I was out in the field, on several job sites daily, enforcing safety policies & procedures of TANCO's, OSHA, Cal-OSHA and our customers. Continually training our employees on how to be safe - at work and at home, weekly safety audits, monthly (& as needed) safety trainings, behaviour based safety, risk management, when needed - incident investigation, record keeping - of our employees. Involved in several safety committees, not only with TANCO but also on the refinerie's contractors part.

I worked out in the field helping where ever I was needed, providing safety guidance, education and awareness.

I worked with my crews on a daily basis to further educate them in safety - on the job and off the job; I trained my crews in policies & procedures of both- our company & the customers we work for; I wrote safe work plans; Conduct weekly safety meetings; Conducted daily & weekly safety audits; Participated in the daily pre-job hazard analysis; Mentored new employees. I am also dedicated to participating in our customer's contractor safety programs.

I worked my way up with this company - from hole/fire watch to helper to welder. I maintained the safety paperwork, audits and timesheets for my foremen before I began work each day.
