Optymize is a subsidiary of SoluLab Inc.As sole PM, took charge of the product development, design, content, and engineering teams to build the internal freelancer management ecosystem as well as the main website. Also responsible for freelancer vetting & acquisition strategy and being the account manager for 2 clients.Main tasks include creating task backlogs, defining weekly sprints, handling daily standups for 30+ employees, working with engineers on product development, designing lo-fidelity wireframes, conducting quality tests, reviewing hi-fi mockups as well as written content on 5 different channels, and working with HR team to interview and onboard freelancers.Also worked with the parent company (SoluLab) in business development tasks such as building pre-sales proposals, generating leads, and establishing blockchain partnerships.

Built the foundations of a platform for remote hiring of technical freelancers (now called Optymize). Main responsibilities were validating the business idea, performing market & competitor research, creating customer personas, and interviewing potential customers to identify pain points. Also led a team of 6 interns which includes designers, marketers, and engineers.Other responsibilities included being the Lead Business Analyst for 2 blockchain projects; an NFT marketplace focused on wellness, and a sports NFT ecosystem based on baseball and boxing.

Main focus was on the analysis and process improvement of existing systems. Was also involved in data analysis and implementing data oriented solutions. My main tasks were translating business requirements to system requirements, creating data flow diagrams and data dictionaries for existing operations, analyzing performance data of around 500 employees, designing business intelligence solutions, building predictive financial data models, and interactive data visualizations.

Got involved with the community care team within the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. They had an issue with their scheduling system for healthcare consults outside of VA services. They were producing too much data from their six database system to be properly and quickly evaluated. Main responsibility was helping them in their operations redesign efforts. Tasks in the analysis stage included creating process flow maps, performing time studies, identifying bottlenecks, prioritizing right KPIs, and analyzing raw data exports. This resulted in creating an automated decision support system with a dashboard displaying the most important metrics. This ended up reducing their report generation time from around 2 working days to approximately 10 minutes through automation.

Got involved with 2 different startups; an inbound sales chatbot company, and a low volume additive manufacturing firm.Worked directly with the founder of the chatbot company called Airim (now acquired by Whatfix), in conducting market research, performing A/B testing, and implementing a plan to improve SEO ranking. Responsibilities with the manufacturing firm involved creating operations scheduling plans, improving various bottlenecks in the supply chain, and forecasting costs and revenues.

Cape Town Area, South Africa

Main responsibility was in designing, and building an interactive introduction module in Virtual Reality for high end real estate customers. The module focused on helping customers get comfortable using the virtual reality system and learn about the property through gamified activities around it conducted entirely in the VR medium. Secondary responsibilities included assisting the design and testing of VR architect tools, and all project documentation work.
