Tampa Tiger Bay Club is Tampa’s most stimulating professional club, attracting members who have a flair for people, a passion for politics, and an interest in current affairs. Monthly meetings offer a diet of good food and stimulating speakers (or is it the other way around?). Topics span a wide array of ideas and opinions ... some controversial but all delectable. Members are not only encouraged to grill the guest speakers but also to win the Garfield for the most "insightful" question.Meetings are held at Noon, usually on the third Friday of each month. Notices are sent to members in advance of meetings. Reservations are required. Members pay only for those luncheons they attend. However, if reservations are made and not cancelled prior to the meeting, members will be expected to pay for missed luncheons. Tampa Tiger Bay Club is a political forum, a non-partisan assembly, that does not endorse any candidate for office.

My love of Hillsborough County and dedication to service have led me to seek the position of Hillsborough County Judge. By hard work, service, leadership, and expertise, I hope to earn your vote so that I can continue to serve my friends, colleagues, and residents of Hillsborough County. My younger brother and I grew up in a middle class home while being raised by a single mother. At the age of 14, I went to work with a local pharmacy. Since then I've worked every year of my life (minus two years while enrolled in law school).This work ethic has served me well through high school, four years in college at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, and three years in Tallahassee at Florida State for law school. From there, I have helped countless individuals as defense attorney, continued to serve my community through Chambers of Commerce, coaching my son's baseball and flag football teams, leading civic organizations and bar associations. Not only was I a member of organizations, my peers and colleagues elevated me to leadership positions within those organizations. I have been the President of Tampa Tiger Bay Club, President of Hillsborough County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a member of the Hillsborough County Citizen's Advisory Board (appointed by Commissioner Stacy White), a board member of the East Hillsborough Bar Association, and a board member of The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce.Additionally, I have been recognized as a board certified attorney by the Florida Bar. In order to be so recognized, you must have practiced in your specialty for a certain amount of time and have a certain number of trials, then get approved to sit for the test through application and investigation, and then pass the test. I achieved this in 2016. I also have a perfect "10" rating by AVVO and I have been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2012.

This Committee advises the Board of County Commissioners on community issues and ensures that Commissioners receive citizen input on a wide variety of issues that directly affect residents.
