At Businesswise Solutions I work alongside the Head of Energy Projects to deliver energy consultation in three main areas: Energy Auditing, Energy Efficiency Programs and Consulting on compliance & Legislation.Energy Audits – I conduct full site energy audits in line with PAS 51215:2014. With these I provide a comprehensive picture of the clients current spend. Assess electricity and gas consumption to recommend changes such as setting up energy saving plans, introducing energy saving measures to bring down consumption and provide regular energy efficiency and regulation reviews.Efficiency Programs – I work along side clients to assess current energy spent and determine how to meet their renewable energy targets. This can be achieved through, Behavioural change projects, Renewable and storage technology opportunities and investments, integration with Businesswise technology centre, Sub-metering and data systems, LED projects and New build design support.Compliance & Legislation – Along with the energy projects I assist in the delivery of a number of legislation and regulatory compliance works. I identify which requirements must meet and guide clients through the process to ensure they are fully compliant. I consult and can assist with the delivery of the following schemes: ESOS, Climate Change Agreements (CCA), EII, DCP161, ISO14001, ISO50001, DEC Assessment.

I supported new and existing industrial and commercial clients with renewable energy generation systems, to provide power purchase agreements with electricity suppliers and system accreditation's through OFGEM. I also provided ongoing management of government support schemes for their specific systems.

Assigned to effectively model an impact panel under static and dynamic collision. A project was devised which included 3D computational modelling along with analytical mathematical modelling for verification purposes. To combat the effects of debris impacting the front cab of trains, it has been proposed that the attachment of a Class 185 impact panel, constructed of a polypropylene panel reinforced with aluminium honeycomb and glass fibres. Throughout this 200 hour part-time project, bi-monthly progress reports were being sent to the Siemens contact as project deliverables so that the client could directly influence the direction of the project if they so choose.
