General assurance:Over 3 years, whilst also dealing with multiple clients, led the multinational engagement of a large global petro chemical company. Coordinating from the UK a team up to 50 staff based over 9 global territories. Organised and reported on multiple work streams; risks, controls, assurance and reporting to global CFO. Implemented new ways of working with the client for special projects.GAAP and compliance:Worked with clients in ensuring their reporting and reporting process was in accordance with IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, Dutch GAAP and other group defined reporting standards. Assessing the impact of any variations on GAAP and how best to harmonise and interpret local variations and make recommendations.

General assurance and Sarbanes-Oxley s404 & internal controls:Led multiple projects for the design assessment and operational evaluation of US EMEA head office multinational clients in the technology sector, based in Amsterdam in accordance with both AS2 and AS5.Worked on multiple engagements within the UK assessing internal controls adequacy in line with AS5.Reporting on gaps, deficiencies and other weaknesses in internal controls based on multiple frameworks i.e. COSO, best practice, combination of manual/ IT and preventative and detective controls.
