What drives me is a love for the world of data and the ecosystem that exists between systems, processes, and users. Data is the artifact of this ecosystem and should be regarded as such. Data should not be taken at face value. It means nothing on its own without knowledge of the system, processes, and users that shaped it. Having been on the IT side of business analysis, system requirements gathering, data modeling, data quality assurance and testing, I bring a holistic view to data analytics (understanding that data is shaped by the whole of this ecosystem). And, I am driven to ask the right questions of the right people to ensure insights are accurate before presenting these insights as actionable items.
