I work with members of the Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources from across the country to develop content and programs that make the Section the premier forum for environmental, energy, and resources law. Projects that I’ve worked on with Section members include creating webpages that track U.S. policy changes, maintaining a collection of environmental justice resources, organizing annual networking and public service events at conferences, establishing a national network of law students who are interested in environmental law, and implementing webinars on timely topics related to environmental, energy, and resources law. I support the Section’s Membership and Inclusion Officer, 20+ substantive committees that deliver content on a number of topics like climate change, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee, Governance Committee, Annual Awards Committee, Leadership Development Program, Membership Diversity Enhancement Program, Special Committees for Law Students and Young Lawyers, Pro Bono Task Force, and Outreach Committee. In addition, handle sponsorships, member surveys, and writing competitions.My job also includes developing membership and marketing initiatives that encourage member recruitment, retention, and engagement. This involves creating and sending marketing emails, managing social media ad campaigns, coordinating the monthly member spotlight program, and designing/maintaining webpages, brochures, and other materials. Additionally, I work on Section giving campaigns, including robust Giving Tuesday and year-end giving campaigns.Since 2022, I've served on the ABA Staff Engagement Committee, working to create opportunities for staff to further engage within the organization and foster a collaborative work environment.
