Contributed to a wide range of projects and research papers in the fields of water science and water infrastructure. Being the principle laboratory engineer, I was actively conducting hands-on experimental design at scale. I worked with state institutions as well as companies in the private sector on state of the art sensors and pipework systems to help shape the future of sustainable water economics.Utilizing vast amonunts of data to further optimize processes and point out potential areas of improvement belongs to my daily routine.

During the internship the following roles were assigned to me:- Analysis of petroleum products using ASTM- and IP-test methods.- Creation of quality reports.- Authorization of the use of petroleum products based on the results obtained.

Kinetic study of the oxidation of methanol to formaldehyde on an Iron Molybdate catalyst.The oxidation was performed in a Microactivity Reactor System at the university. Temperature, volume flow and catalyst composition were varied.UV-vis Spectroscopy was used for the quantification of the produced formaldehyde dissolved in water. Treatment with chromotropic acid made the analysis possible.Results were graphically visualized, analyzed and interpreted.

I was able to conclude a regression function, which describes the relation between the cross-linking percentage of polymer-pipes and it's rheological properties. This enables the company to decrease cost and time in the structural analysis of the continuously produced pipes. During the internship the following roles were assigned to me:- Analysis of the morphological structure and rheological properties of cross-linked Polyethylene pipes- Material analysis using a newly operated rotational rheomater.- Mechanical quality control of the produced polymer pipes.- Calculation of the cross-linking percentage of the treated pipes.
